About PhotoSaathi

Saathi (साथी) means companion — the friend you want next to you when the portal says "invalid file".

Why this exists

Every recruitment season, millions of people fill in online applications for SSC, UPSC, NEET, JEE, banking and railway exams — and a huge share of them get stuck at the same step: the photo upload. The portal wants a JPEG of exactly 200×230 pixels between 20 KB and 50 KB; the phone produces a 4 MB photo; the cyber café charges for every retry; the deadline is tonight.

PhotoSaathi was built to make that step trivial: pick your destination, drop your photo, download a file that passes the portal's checks on the first try. The tricky cases — files that compress below a portal's minimum size, HEIC photos from iPhones, signatures that lose their thin pen strokes — are precisely the ones it was built to handle.

How it works, honestly

What PhotoSaathi is not

It is not affiliated with SSC, UPSC, NTA, IBPS, any government body, or any exam-conducting authority. It cannot guarantee acceptance — final say always belongs to the portal you're applying on. It fixes the mechanical requirements (dimensions, format, file size) so the only things left to get right are the human ones: a clear, recent photo taken as your notification describes.
