Resize your signature for SSC — 10 to 20 KB
SSC asks for a scanned signature around 140×60 pixels between 10 KB and 20 KB. The catch nobody warns you about: a clean signature on white paper usually compresses to LESS than 10 KB, and the portal rejects it for being too small. PhotoSaathi pads the file back above the minimum without touching the image itself.

Common questions
My signature file is under 10 KB and the SSC portal rejects it. What do I do?
This is the most common signature problem. PhotoSaathi pads the file container to sit above the 10 KB minimum while leaving the visible signature pixels untouched — choose the SSC Signature preset and it happens automatically.
Should my signature be JPEG or PNG?
PhotoSaathi uses a lossless format internally where it keeps thin pen strokes sharper, and converts as needed to satisfy the portal. Follow the preset and cross-check your notification.
Requirements are revised every recruitment cycle. These figures reflect commonly published values — always cross-check the current official notification before submitting.
